Do you know any veterans? How do you celebrate Memorial Day?
Memorial Day.. a day to remember our fallen heroes who died in defense of our freedoms.. Veteran's Day.. a day for honoring all veterans, dead and alive.
That being said, to honor those who paid with their lives, I remember those known to me and those unknown, and mostly, we enjoy our holiday and be thankful for the freedoms we are provided by the sacrifice of the dead and the continuing efforts of the living.
Additionally, I don't do lame things like complain about it being hot at the park because it's a humid 82 degrees because it's dang hot in the desert when you're loaded with gear, trying not to get killed, defending the rights unappreciative people back home.I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

I celebrate by throwing a party and decorating my place with tons of American Flag stuff.
Good point. Our flag flies from now until the 4th of July. (And I wonder how many people know that June 14 is Flag Day?)
